BiographyPurdue University Student In Game Design/Development and AnimationHello, my name is Michael Nicholas and this is my portfolio website. I am thrilled to take you on a journey through my passion for creating immersive and unforgettable gaming experiences. For as long as I can remember, games have been an integral part of my life. From the small games of my childhood to the cutting-edge world of games today, I have always been captivated by the power of video games to transport players to new realms, challenge their minds, and ignite their imaginations. I am a Junior at Purdue University majoring in Game Design, and am learning all aspects of the gaming industry. I am also majoring in Animation. Animation has played a key role in my love for video games, and I am building my skills in 3D modeling and asset creation. These two majors play a hand in hand role in sharpening my skills as a Game Designer. I hope you enjoy my work and feel free to contact me if you want to know more.

I grew up in my hometown of Glenview, IL, and as a child I was fascinated by video games. My first memory of playing video games was Halo 3 as the Arbiter playing with my brother, who was Master Chief. I still remember driving through the flood on the back of the warthog in the final mission. As an adult, I still feel those moments of excitement in the games I play. This is what sold me on my major. I want to be a part of the team that creates the kind of games that made my eyes light up as a kid and even today. It is my passion to do that. And I am going to work hard to be excellent at it. And I am no stranger to hard work, having worked manual labor jobs, which taught me the meaning of hard work. This is the drive that I put into my studies and has helped me greatly succeed in my college career. And I do not intend to stop now. Just like Master Chief and the Arbiter on their final mission.
